Fairfield Chamber of Commerce recognizes DDC’s business leadership

Cincinnati, OH. May 6, 2004—DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC) gave the opening presentation at Notable Neighbors, a luncheon series launched by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. The series features businesses in the area that have made national and international news because of their unique products and services.

The presentation highlighted DDC’s leadership in the private paternity testing industry. In July 2002, DDC was the first to run every DNA test twice. DDC is currently in the process of expanding its 68,000 sq-ft. facility, adding new wings to accommodate its expanding range of DNA testing services—including forensics, veterinary diagnostics, and human genetics.

More than 70 people attended the talk, which Luncheons Committee chairman Bill Solazzo says is part of the chamber’s push to provide networking opportunities among attendees and business leaders in the area.

Future presenters in the Notable Neighbors series are the Cincinnati Mills (July 7), Jungle Jim’s (Sept. 1), and O’Gara, Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Co. (Nov. 3). The chamber invited the companies to share their success stories, Ginger Shawver, executive director of the Commerce, said.
