DDC Nominated for Ethical Business Award

Fairfield, OH. June 20, 2007—DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC) was recognized along with 6 other local businesses for the Fairfield Rotary Club's Ethical Business Award.
The recognition came at the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield Rotary Club's first annual Ethics Award luncheon, held at the Receptions Conference Center in Fairfield.
President Fred Valerius and Chairman Jim Mullany from the Rotary Club Ethical Business Committee wrote a letter to DDC, commending their outstanding treatment of both their customers and employees.
"We are quite impressed with the passion for ethics shown by the top leadership of your company and the manner in which it has been implemented throughout your organization," Valerius and Mullany said. "Thank you for your positive examples to others."
Jeffrey Wigand was the speaker at the luncheon. He spoke candidly about his struggles on becoming a whistle-blower on the tobacco industries in the 1990s. He was the subject of the movie, "The Insider," which brought to life Wigand's determination.
The Rotary Club's members represent business and professional men and women who wish to develop autonomous service programs. 160 countries and more than 1.2 million members worldwide are part of the Rotary Club's organization.
